Under Construction

Alright so I have a new site under construction for all of you reading this. I’m moving to a real website where realtime purchases can be made. I’m using Wix to make a new site for myself. It’s HTML coding free, which is great for me. All I have to focus on is making everything functional and pretty. Forget all those open and closed brackets, thank you very much.
So far it’s pretty easy. Just kind of tedious because Wix gives you a really in depth template to tinker with. Literally, even the example gallery they give you has to be removed and/or edited to match your site. The buttons and where they link to and all that. How in the world anyone would want to do HTML coding for all of that minute detailing I do not know. All I know’s, it ain’t me!

I have to set up e-commerce, and don’t know how time-consuming that will be, but it’s going to be a bootstraps operation. I’m a self-made woman, you know. Time to put on my big-girl panties, as my mom sometimes says. I’m determined to do this without the assistance of anyone and to make it flawless or nearly so the first time around. Of course the imagery will change over time, become more streamlined and so on, but I want the site on its own to look polished from the jump.

I plan on purchasing the FRJ domain name, and I plan on being live within the next two months since I’m expecting that I will need ample time to tinker and perfect. If it’s up before then, well good for us, right?

In the meantime, I’ve also concocted a plan to make a round of clip-on earrings since I love wearing them and it seems there’s a shortage of beautiful clip-ons around here. I get inquiries all the time on whether or not I made the ones I own (no, with much regret). I have a good eye for them; let’s try my hand.

Anyway, I have a few things I need to be up early for in the morning. I’ll keep that ass posted.

Ciao!

Let me know if you need any help with some “fine tuning” outside of the wizards capabilities. I’m learning HTML5 and JavaScript at this very moment. Keep up the great work! Looks awesome. :-)
